High-performance, constant-speed diesel engines are used as prime power units for our generator sets; the engine units are selected for their reliability, economy, long life and service-friendly design.
We supply a complete installation service from site preparation through to supplying and fitting equipment such as exhausts, louvres, attenuators and control panels, to commissioning and load testing.
A wide variety of brushless, single bearing alternators are fitted as standard. These are compact in design and totally reliable in all operating and environmental conditions and are available in 2-pole or 4-pole configuration with a choice of single or three phase voltages.
Alternators meet the requirements of BS EN 60034, and the relevant section of other international standards, BS 5000, VDE 0530, NEMA MG1-32, IEC 34, CSA c22.2.100, AS 1359.
We provide full servicing, load testing and maintenance of diesel generator sets. Our current client list includes NHS hospitals, hotels, public and government bodies, energy management and utility service companies and a range of commercial organisations.
Engine-mounted and separate wall mounting panels can be supplied. Automatic mains failure panels are normally located on or adjacent to the generators. The automatic transfer switch panels are normally located close to the incoming mains with some controls and instrumentation positioned on the generator set. Generator protection with shutdown and indication features is available with various options. Standard synchronising and paralleling panels allow for the control and monitoring of the generator sets from the panel.
